Krewe of Endymion enters 50th anniversary year _lowres

The Krewe of Endymion kicked off its 50th anniversary Aug. 29 with a high tea celebrating 50 years of royalty.

Thirty-five queens of Endymion representing monarchs from the krewe’s inception in 1967 gathered at Chateau Estates Country Club to celebrate and reminisce about their reigns in Mardi Gras’ largest parade.

Her majesty, Queen of Endymion 2016 Jamie Elizabeth Hanzo, attended to prepare for her reign as Endymion’s golden monarch.
