The New Orleans Police Department are asking for the public's assistance in locating two male suspects wanted for armed robbery and aggravated second degree battery, according to a NOPD press release.

Marc Brown, a 30-year-old white male, and a second unidentified 6' tall, 220 pound white male are suspects in an incident that took place March 1, 2015, inside a vehicle in the area of Morgan and Seguin Streets in Algiers, the report says.

According to the report, around 4:30 p.m. an unidentified 27-year-old male victim called Brown to come and pick him up at the ferry landing. They agreed to have a few drinks in Algiers Point. Brown and an unknown white male arrived and picked up the victim. The victim mentioned that he was going to a casino later that night.

When the unknown white male driver approached the intersection of Morgan and Seguin Streets, Brown allegedly produced a handgun and struck the victim several times to the head. Brown and the unknown white male then allegedly went through the victim's pockets, taking his cash, and pushed him out of the vehicle onto the parking lot next to the ferry and drove away, the report says.

Fourth District detectives are in charge of the investigation and can be reached at (504) 658-6040.
