CLEANING FOR CANCER PATIENTS: Working through Cleaning For A Reason, Dial-A-Maid of Kenner is donating house cleanings to women battling cancer.
“As women, we like to keep our home in order as much as we can,” owner Juanita Jasmine said. “Women who are fighting the battle with cancer need to focus on their health. Trying to maintain a clean home can easily become a low priority when going through treatments and surgeries, and this is where we come in.”
Cleaning For A Reason, based in Lewisville, Texas, works with more than 1,100 residential cleaning companies nationwide. Since 2006, more than $4.5 million in services have been donated, helping more than 15,000 women with cancer.
