10 parades to catch the St. Aug Marching 100 this Carnival _lowres

St. Augustine High School has released the schedule of Carnival parades that will feature the sounds of the Marching 100, the school’s renowned marching band.

The Purple Knights will march in 10 parades beginning Friday, Feb. 6, with Cleopatra, and concluding the season by leading the way for Rex down St. Charles Avenue on Fat Tuesday.

The powerhouse band will take part in a parade every day but Feb. 7, and two the Sunday before Mardi Gras (Mid-City and Bacchus), for the 10 days up to and including Fat Tuesday.
