Members of the cast of the Nola Project production of “Marie Antoinette” will hold a meet and greet at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Alliance Française de la Nouvelle-Orleans, 1519 Jackson Ave., New Orleans. Wine and light snacks will be served.

“Marie Antoinette” will be staged at 8 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and at 2 p.m. Sundays Sept. 3-20 in the Nims Blackbox Theater at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts, 2800 Chartres St., New Orleans. A salon in French, with translation for beginners, will be held after the Sept. 14 matinee. Tickets are $30, with a $5 discount for Alliance Française members. French classes for adults begin Sept. 14 at Alliance Française, with early bird discounts for those who register by Sept. 4. Regular adult classes are given over a period of 10 weeks and cost $370.
French-language programs for children, in 18- to 36-month-old and 3- to 5-year-old groups, also begin in September, at the Thibodeaux School of Music, 2436 Valence St., or at Play & Grow Studios, inside the Broadmoor Arts & Wellness Center, 3900 Gen. Taylor Ave.
