New Orleans police are asking the public for help in locating two girls suspected of running away from home.

In separate cases, Diamond White, 11, and Te'Naj Welch, 17, were last seen Dec. 26.

White, described as frequently running away, fled her home in the 300 block of Hillary Street when she refused to leave when her aunt came to pick her up. Instead, White fled on foot and hasn't been seen since.

Welch left her home in the 2500 bloc kof Monroe Street and left without permission.

NOPD's decscription of White, who suffers from a medical condition: "Black female and is approximately 5’2” tall with a heavy build."

NOPD's description of Welch, who has a medical condition requiring certain medication: "Black female with a slim build, black hair, approximately 5’5” tall, and weighing approximately 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing a white tank top shirt with black tights and glasses."
