A pedestrian was pinned between two cars and sent to a hospital after a car crash in Uptown New Orleans on Friday morning.

According to the New Orleans Police Department, the pedestrian -- an 18-year-old man -- was standing between two parked cars near the intersection of Carrollton Avenue and Belfast Street. A 22-year-old man driving a Ford F-150 was traveling south on Carrollton when he struck one of the parked cars the pedestrian was standing between.

The parked car that was struck then struck the man and pinned him between two parked cars.

He was taken to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition with two possible broken legs.

The driver was taken to the NOPD traffic division for testing.
