Mission Ignition completes 3,633 service hours _lowres

Patrick F. Taylor Science and Technology Academy students and others completed service hours as part of the United Way’s Mission Ignition program. Patrick Taylor students won the interschool competition with 901 hours, nearly five hours per student enrolled.

Total hours completed in Mission Ignition 2015 were 3,633, a value of approximately $30,000 in volunteer hours to local nonprofits.

The United Way and youth MI leaders hope to see the program grow in the New Orleans area and throughout the country.
