New Orleans police reported four armed robberies between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

The first incident happened in the 7th Ward shortly before 10:20 p.m. Police said a 32-year-old man was walking in the 1700 block of Lapeyrouse Street when he was approached with a man armed with a knife, demanding money. The victim complied and the robber stabbed him.

The second armed robbery happened in the Treme about 1:40 a.m. Police said a 31-year-old woman got off her bicycle near the front gate of her house in the 800 block of North Robertson Street when an armed man approached her from behind.

The robber demanded her purse and bike, and fled when she complied.

Three minutes later, another robbery happened in Central City, police said.

A 25-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were walking on the corner of Delachaise and Carondelet en route to their house at about 1:45 a.m. when they were approached from behind by an armed man demanding their belongings.

The robber fled after they complied.

Two 29-year-old men were held up a little over an hour later, about 3 a.m., in the Central Business District.

The victims were walking in the 200 block of Carondelet Street when an armed man approached and demanded their property, police said.

The robber fled after they gave him their belongings.
