The sentencing of convicted Bourbon Street shooter Trung Le has been delayed to March 4 after a defense attorney filed a motion for a new trial Thursday morning.
Le was scheduled to be sentenced Thursday.
An Orleans Parish jury last month found him guilty of manslaughter and attempted manslaughter.
The 22-year-old Belle Chasse man fired the first four bullets in a 15-shot melee on Bourbon Street in June 2014 that left a Hammond woman dead and nine others with gunshot wounds.
Le faces a minimum of 20 years in prison.
