Residents and businesses in the area of Esplanade and North Claiborne avenues will experience low water pressure from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, the Sewerage & Water Board said Monday.
Crews will be working on a 24-inch valve on a water line.
The customers affected will be along Esplanade from Dauphine Street to Claiborne and along Claiborne from Esplanade to Orleans Avenue.
The right eastbound lane of Claiborne will be closed from Dumaine Street to Ursulines Avenue while the work is in progress.
In addition, residents and businesses along Bienville Street from Dauphine Street to Burgundy Street will experience low water pressure from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday while workers install a valve on a water line in the area.
