Dillard’s Inc. will anchor Phase II of Fremaux Town Center in Slidell, according to CBL & Associates Properties Inc. and Stirling Properties, which are jointly leasing and marketing the center.
Dillard’s will open a single-story store with 126,000 square feet of space, according to CBL and Stirling.
The first phase of Fremaux Town Center has 330,000 square feet of space, and tenants include Kohl’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Michael’s, T.J. Maxx and Best Buy. Those stores will be open by March.
Construction on the shopping center’s second phase, which includes up to 320,000 square feet of retail space, will begin around the same time with stores set to open in spring of 2015.
More than 70 percent of the center’s Phase I space is leased, according to CBL and Stirling. The center occupies about 80 acres at the southwest corner of Interstate 10 and Fremaux Avenue in Slidell, on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain.
