Three 17-year-olds were injured Sunday morning in a shooting following a fight outside a bar on Airline Drive in Kenner, authorities said.

A fight between two groups of people broke out about 7 a.m. outside the Black and Gold Bar & Lounge at 1820 Airline Drive in Kenner, according to a news release from the Kenner Police Department.

“One person involved in the altercation retreated to a vehicle where he removed a handgun … and began chasing and shooting at the second group involved,” the release states.

One of the victims, a girl, was shot in the buttocks, the release states. Another girl was grazed on the back of her leg, and a boy was grazed on his right foot. All three were treated at a hospital and released.
