New Orleans officials are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in the shooting death of Bruce Tims, according to a New Orleans Police Department report.
Brandon Guidry, 30, is wanted in connection with the murder of Tims, 20, that occured Saturday, March 21, at the intersection of Bourbon and Conti Street.
Tims and a 28-year-old man were found around 5:00 a.m. at the intersection suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to the hospital where Tims later died. The second victim is recovering from his injuries, the report says.
During the course of the investigation, detectives identified Guidry as a suspect in the shooting. Once arrested, Guidry will be charged with second degree murder, according to the report.
