The Sewerage & Water Board said these construction projects will cause low water pressure in parts of New Orleans on Monday and Tuesday:
Residents and businesses in part of Broadmoor will experience low pressure from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday as contractors install a 4-inch water valve that will serve the area. The affected areas will be along South White Street between Walmsley Avenue and Eden Street, and along Eden Street between South Dupre and South White streets.
Customers on Palmyra Street between South Carrollton Avenue and South Murat Street will experience low pressure from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday as workers relocate a water line.
Residents on Lowerline Street between St. Charles Avenue and Zimpel Street will experience low water pressure from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday as crews replace a broken hydrant.
Customers on Dauphine Street between Elysian Fields Avenue and Pauger Street will experience low pressure from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday as workers install a 4-inch water valve to serve the area.
