A historic church in the French Quarter was vandalized during the Mardi Gras festivities, reports WDSU TV.
Graffiti and paint were found on the facade of St. Mary's Catholic Church on Chartres Street.
Residents said they were appalled when they read the words "Kill God" on the wall of the iconic church. There was also red paint poured over the cross on the door.
