New Orleans Advocate reporter Faimon Roberts and photo editor John McCusker are riding on an original World War II bomber today as part of The National WWII Museum’s AirPower Expo 2015.

Along with WWII veterans, they will be riding on the only B-29 Superfortress FIFI still flying today.

Follow along as they tweet photos and updates throughout the day.

The National WWII Museum and the Commemorative Air Force’s AirPower Expo takes place Friday through Sunday. It will feature a fleet of vintage WWII aircraft, including the B-29, on-site at the New Orleans Lakefront Airport.

Tickets can be purchased in advance through the AirPower Expo website or by phone at 504-528-1944. General admission tickets will also be available at the entry gate each day, according to The National WWII Museum.
