New Orleans Police are investigating a shooting Saturday night that left one man dead and another injured, police spokesman Officer Garry Flot said.

The shooting, which took place at an Algiers apartment complex about 9:30 p.m. in the 3300 block of Garden Oaks Drive, is being investigated as a homicide, Flot said.

The unidentified man was shot multiple times and died at the scene, Flot said, while the 20-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen and is listen in critical condition.

The investigation is ongoing and no other information is available at this time.

New Orleans Police have offered a reward of up to $2,500 for anyone who provides information leading to an arrest and indictment of whoever is responsible for the shooting.
