Officers responded to a shots fired call early Thursday morning and found two men with bullet wounds, according to a New Orleans Police Department press release.

Around 1:00 a.m. NOPD responded to a call in the 1400 block of Southlawn Street.

A 19-year-old male was found shot multiple times in the body, and a 22-year-old male was found with a gunshot in the leg.

Both were transported to a local hospital and are in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries, according to the release.

The investigation is open and ongoing.
