A New Orleans native helped sponser the smiley face and kind words floating over the Crescent City, according to a report on WDSU-TV.
Frank Scurlock, based in Los Angeles but native to New Orleans, sponsored the endeavor with the help of a skywriter to spread the reminder of love we should have for one another, the report says.
“There's a lot of goodness, and people tend to forget that. We want to remind people it's better to be good,” Scurlock says.
The skywriting is expected to continue through Monday.
New Orleans residents took to social media to express their appreciation of the skywriting.
