Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is opening Thursday at 3235 S. Carrollton Ave., with another grand opening on tap for July 24 at 1406 St. Charles Ave.

The expansion of the Baton Rouge company into the market began when the Riverwalk location opened in May. Four more locations are set to open in Orleans Parish over the next six months. Cane’s will also hire more than 350 local crewmembers over the next six months.

“We opened our first greater New Orleans restaurant more than 10 years ago,” said Todd Graves, Cane’s founder and chief executive officer. “Since that time, we have continued to actively look for the right locations to expand our local presence.”

The Carrollton and St. Charles locations mark the 18th and 19th restaurants in greater New Orleans, and the 58th and 59th in the state of Louisiana.
