NEW ORLEANS AREA

Baker Marine Solutions in Covington named Robert Socha as vice president of business development for U.S. and international operations of the company.

Socha was executive vice president of marketing and sales with Bollinger Shipyards.

Matthew Weeks has been elected to the board of directors of DonahueFavret Contractors Inc.

Weeks serves as a project superintendent at the company.

Kenneth F. Tedesco has been named executive vice president at Our Lady of Holy Cross College.

Tedesco was president of De La Salle High School and from 1995 to 2003 was vice president for advancement at OLHCC.

Laura White has been elected president of the Louisiana Association of Affordable Housing Providers, a nonprofit organization focused on the development of a viable affordable housing inventory in Louisiana.

IberiaBank has named Leigh U. Seago as vice president and branch manager of its 3412 St. Charles Ave. location and Christopher LeBato as vice president and commercial relationship manager in New Orleans.

LeBato was branch manager of the St. Charles Avenue location. Seago was branch manager at the Prytania Street location.

Global destination management company AlliedPRA Inc. has named Sarah Howard as senior account manager, Erin Gremillion as national sales manager and Katie Poche as sales manager in its New Orleans office.

Howard and Gremillion were account managers. Poche was a sales coordinator.

BATON ROUGE AREA

Christel Slaughter, a partner with SSA Consultants, has been elected chairwoman of Woman’s Hospital’s board of directors.

Other officers are Dr. Edward Schwartzenburg, an OB-GYN with Schwartzenburg, Lafranca, Guidry & Chapman, chairman-elect; and Tom Hawkins Jr., secretary/treasurer.

Newly elected to the board is Patrick Seiter, a partner at Taylor, Porter, Brooks, & Phillips LLP. Re-elected to the board is Mike Wampold.

Mark D. Mese, a partner at Kean Miller, has been elected president of newly formed nonprofit Louisiana Pet Pantry, a group of volunteers for Rescue Bank activities in East Baton Rouge and surrounding parishes that will work supply food to animal rescue groups. LAFAYETTE AREA

Fugro Chance Inc.’s Marine Operations Group in Lafayette has named Fionnuala “Finn” Richard as global product manager–remote services; Michael Cole as manager of survey projects; Kevin Barron as manager of offshore personnel; and Annette Willingham as manager of OARS services. Richard was manager of marine operations. Cole serves as the company’s dedicated project manager for Shell’s Arctic operations. Barron was project manager in marine operations. Willingham was training supervisor.

AROUND LOUISIANA

Dr. Mark A. Dodson, who practices at Mid-State Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in Alexandria, was installed as president of the Louisiana Orthopaedic Association. Dodson completed his orthopaedic residency at the Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation in New Orleans and has served since 2001 as a clinical assistant professor for the Tulane University Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.
