Mark Romig, president and CEO of New Orleans Tourism Marketing Corp., has been appointed to the Federal Reserve Bank in Atlanta’s travel and tourism advisory council.

Council members provide economic information — such as costs, prices, labor and investments — in their respective sectors, which include convention and visitors’ bureaus, cruise lines, airports, restaurants, entertainment and hotels.

Romig, also a board member of the Louisiana Travel Promotion Association since 2013, has been president and CEO of NOTMC since 2011.
