BATON ROUGE AREA

General contracting firm Buquet & LeBlanc Inc. has elected Rob Liles as president and Jake Mayo as vice president.

Liles succeeds Bill Firesheets, who will serve as construction management adviser. Firesheets has been with the company since 1973 and served as president since 1995.

Liles was vice president. Mayo was director of field operations. Both have been with the company since 1997.

Daniel Slattery has been promoted to vice president of operations for SafetyPro Resources.

Slattery joined the company in 2015 as a senior safety and quality consultant.

William “Bill” A. Moody has been named a broker associate by Corporate Realty Inc. He will represent Commercial Property Realty Trust in the leasing of the Bon Carré Business Center and the IBM building in Baton Rouge, along with being part of the Water Campus leasing team.

Moody was part of the Prudential Realty Group/Ayrshire Corp. team in New Orleans, with managing director and leasing agent responsibilities for Poydras Plaza. He also has represented the Koll Co., iStar Financial Inc., Tri-Net/Whitehall, Poydras Properties LLC and Equity Commonwealth.

NEW ORLEANS AREA

Brian W. North has been named president and chief executive officer of Fifth District Savings Bank.

He succeeds Michael E. Nolan, who is retiring as president and will continue to serve as chairman of the board of directors.

North has been with Fifth District since 1988 and was responsible for all lending and compliance activities. He has served on the board since 2002.

Durr Heavy Construction in Harahan has appointed Robert S. Wooderson as executive vice president.

Wooderson is responsible for business development, preconstruction services, estimating, client relations and other corporate functions. Wooderson served as president of Gibbs Construction since 2008.

The New Orleans Business Alliance has appointed Thomas S. Mabon and Richard Tallant to its board of directors for three-year terms and reappointed Robert Wollfarth.

Mabon is senior relationship manager in IberiaBank’s New Orleans commercial banking group. Tallant serves as asset manager for the Eastern Gulf of Mexico at Shell Deepwater. Wollfarth is of counsel with law firm Baker Donelson.
