Peter Mayer has added former Facebook Creative Shop Global Lead of Creative Partnerships Desmond LaVelle as vice president, executive creative director.
LaVelle brings more than two decades of national and international brand experience to the marketing firm. He will oversee Peter Mayer's creative, studio and development departments, and he will report to Josh Mayer, the agency's chief creative officer.
LaVelle spent six years with Facebook Creative Shop working to co-create the future of brand storytelling with the global creative community. He has also been a senior vice president and creative director with Leo Burnett and FCB San Francisco. He has led award winning and needle-moving campaigns for major national brands, including Esurance, Coca-Cola, Target, Samsung, Budweiser, Altoids, Corona, Kellogg's, Proctor & Gamble, Hallmark and the Dockers brand for Levi's.
