A series of seminars on becoming a special events vendor and business opportunities available at various festivals is being held by New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu’s Office of Economic Development.

Each session will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. on the following dates with different topics:

Feb. 17: The topic is about becoming a vendor for special events and things to know after receiving a special event occupational license; Lakeview Christian Center, 5885 Fleur de Lis Drive, New Orleans.

Feb. 24: Jazz in the Park and 2017 BUKU Music & Art Project business opportunities; JOB1 Business and Career Solutions, 2nd Floor Conference Room, 3400 Tulane Ave., New Orleans.

March 2: New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Crescent City Blues Festival business opportunities; Treme Recreation Center, Multipurpose Room, 900 N. Villere St., New Orleans.

March 9: Essence Festival and Wednesdays at the Square business opportunities; Dillard University Office of Community Relations, DUICEF Building, Room 207, 2601 Gentilly Blvd., New Orleans.

March 16: Bayou Boogaloo Festival and Freret Street Market & Festival business opportunities; Joe W. Brown Recreation Center, 5601 Read Blvd., New Orleans.
