The U.S. Small Business Administration’s Disaster Loan Outreach Center in the St. Tammany Parish Administrative Complex at 520 Old Spanish Trail in Slidell will close its at the end of the business day May 4.
The center was opened to provide personalized assistance to Louisiana businesses and residents who were affected by severe storms and flooding March 8 to April 8. Until the center closes, SBA representatives will continue to explain SBA’s disaster loan program and help applicants close approved disaster loans.
The deadline to apply for the property damage loans is May 12.
So far, SBA has approved disaster loans of more than $4.5 million to Louisiana businesses and $64.1 million to homeowners and renters who were affected by the storms and flooding.
