NAPOLEONVILLE — A woman on probation for aggravated second-degree battery was booked Tuesday on the same count in a new incident in which she is accused of stabbing a man, according to the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responding to a 911 call at 815 N. Belle River Road, Pierre Part, on Tuesday found an injured 61-year-old man who said he and his girlfriend, Tammy Daley, 45, who was still in the house, had gotten into a fight and she had picked up a small kitchen knife and stabbed him in the chest, the Sheriff’s Office said Thursday.
The man was taken to Teche Regional Hospital in Morgan City, where he is being treated for a punctured lung.
Daley was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center where she remains on counts of aggravated second-degree battery and domestic abuse battery. Her bail has been set at $30,000.
At the time of her arrest, Daley was on supervised probation for an aggravated second-degree battery conviction in West Baton Rouge Parish.
