Ascension Parish sheriff’s deputies are looking for a Donaldsonville woman who’s a convicted sex offender and has failed to register in the parish, Lt. Col. Bobby Webre said.

LaKeisha Marshall, 35, 1305 McKinley St., is a Tier II sex offender, meaning she was convicted of a sex offense against a minor and must register semi-annually, Webre said in a news release Thursday.

Marshall failed to register Feb. 19, and detectives have tried to locate her, Webre said.

Marshall was arrested by sheriff’s deputies in 2013 in Donaldsonville on counts of prostitution of persons under the age of 18, soliciting for prostitutes and trafficking of children for sexual purposes. She was convicted on the charges in 2014, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts may call the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office, (225) 621-4636, text 847411 or call Crime Stoppers at (225) 344-7867.
