Two men and two women were arrested this week on a variety of drug charges following a two-month investigation by Ascension Parish sheriff’s detectives, said Sheriff Jeff Wiley.

After an undercover purchase of methamphetamine on Tuesday at a home at 37448 La. 74 in Gonzales, narcotics detectives served a search warrant and seized nearly $600 worth of meth, prescription pain medicines, other drugs and more than $900 in cash, Wiley said in a news release.

The four occupants of the home were arrested and booked into Ascension Parish Jail in Donaldsonville.

Daniel Harris, 47, and Susan Hilbun, 44, who both live at the home, were arrested on counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methadone, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of hydrocodone and possession of alprazolam, according to the Sheriff’s Office report.

Bail for each was set at $80,344.50.

Michael Jordan, 47, of 37448 La. 74, Gonzales, was arrested on two counts of possession of a legend drug without a prescription, three counts of possession of methamphetamine and possession of the pain medicine tramadol, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

His bail was set at $40,000.

Kelly Osterhout, 53, of 324 New River St., Gonzales, was arrested on counts of possession of a legend drug without a prescription, possession of methamphetamine, possession of the seizure medicine clonazepam and possession of drug paraphernalia, the Sheriff’s Office reported.

Her bail was set at $30,344.50.
