Ascension authorities searching for 15-year-old runaway missing since Tuesday night, sheriff says _lowres

Ascension Parish Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a 15-year-old girl who ran away from her Donaldsonville home on Tuesday, said Sheriff Jeff Wiley.

The girl, Deriyonne Smith, was last seen by her mother at 11 p.m. that night, Wiley said in a news release.

The teenager has run away before. She may be traveling with a 21-year-old man, Keyshaun Washington, and the two may be in the Alexandria/Pineville area, according to the report.

Smith was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and black sweat pants with the word “love” written on one pants leg. She has black hair and brown eyes, is 5-feet, 6-inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds.
