LABADIEVILLE — Deputies arrested four boys accused of causing $3,500 in damage to eight vehicles in a towing company’s storage yard, the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office reported Wednesday.

The boys, all Labadieville residents ranging in age from 12 to 16, entered the Supreme Collision & Towing yard in Labadieville early on Nov. 6, deputies said in a news release.

The boys used bricks and an ax to break windows and smash windshields on the vehicles, one of them a wrecker truck, deputies said.

All of the boys were arrested Tuesday and booked on counts of criminal trespassing and simple criminal damage to property, deputies said.

The boys were released to their parents pending Juvenile Court hearings, deputies said.
