Man sought after making unauthorized purchases on company credit card, police say _lowres

Gonzales police are searching for a man accused of making several unauthorized purchases with a company credit card.

William Blair Miller, 35, last known address of 25564 Poirrier Lane in Denham Springs, used the credit card on Nov. 10 at a Home Depot store to make purchases not authorized by his supervisor, according to a news release from the Gonzales Police Department.

Miller left Home Depot and shortly after got into an accident in a company vehicle. The items he purchased were not found in the truck. Miller was suspended pending a drug screen, police said.

While suspended, Miller made more purchases on the card in excess of $1,000 between Baton Rouge and Denham Springs. He was identified in video surveillance at Home Depot in Gonzales as well as GPS on the company truck placing him at Home Depot.

The Denham Springs Police Department has issued felony warrants on Miller as well and are actively pursuing his apprehension.

Miller has a criminal history consisting mainly of narcotics and theft arrests since 1998, police said.
