A missing teenage girl, believed to have runaway, was found on Wednesday, a spokesman with the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office said.

Baylie Allen, 17, was located unharmed, the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office said in an email. No other information was provided.

Allen left her grandfather’s home in Gonzales more than a week ago, an earlier news release said.

She had been arrested Feb. 13 for running away and was released back to the custody of her grandfather, according to to the news release.

She had runaway from home before, but had never been gone for as long as this most recent incident, according to the Sheriff’s Office said.
