PRAIRIEVILLE — Ascension Parish authorities are searching for two women and a man they believe are responsible for burglarizing motor homes and storage units on Airline Highway.

Among the items stolen Monday were fishing equipment and a dirt bike, Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Maj. Kevin Hanna said in a news release Wednesday.

A 2013 Mastercraft X55 ski boat and trailer parked at the A Store All Storage Rentals facility also were stolen, Hanna said. Investigators were working with renters of storage units to determine a complete list of stolen items.

Video surveillance at the facility captured two women and a man who were using a dark-colored, extended-cab pickup during the burglaries. One of the women was wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt, while the other was wearing a blue-and-white sweater. There was no clear image of the man, Hanna said.

The surveillance cameras showed the three entering the facility around 7 p.m. Monday and leaving the scene around 3:45 a.m. Tuesday. They made multiple trips from the facility with the stolen property, Hanna said.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office at (225) 621-4636 or Crime Stoppers at (225) 344-7867.
