— The Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office is looking for a Napoleonville man after a search of his home on Friday turned up heroin, Sheriff Mike Waguespack said.

Officers with the Narcotics Task Force of the Sheriff’s Office carried out a search warrant at the home of Ronald Southall, 27, at 124 Matthew St., Napoleonville, and found 6 grams of heroin, with an estimated street value of $1,200; one Adderall, used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder; a digital scale; and individual baggies, Waguespack said.

A warrant for Southall’s arrest has been issued on counts of possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession of Adderall, possession of drug paraphernalia and three counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile, according to the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office.
