Man wanted in Ascension Parish home invasion and theft is believed to be in Tylertown, Mississippi, the Sheriff’s Office reports _lowres

Ascension Parish sheriff’s deputies are looking for a suspect in a home invasion and theft who is also a convicted sex offender not living at the address he gave to the Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies learned at a compliance check on May 11 that Dustin Sanders, 28, wasn’t living at a residence on Lambert Road in Gonzales and hadn’t lived there for six months, Sheriff Jeff Wiley said in a news release.

Sanders was convicted of carnal knowledge of a juvenile in May 2009 and was placed on probation, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The home invasion and theft allegedly took place in April.

Detectives believe Sanders may be living in Tylertown, Mississippi, with family members or friends.

Sanders is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. He has blond hair and hazel eyes and has a large tattoo on the right side of his neck.
