Ascension deputies seeking man who pulled gun on Prairieville bar customers _lowres

Ascension Parish sheriff’s deputies are looking for a man who pulled a handgun on customers of a Prairieville bar after arguing with employees, said sheriff’s spokesman Lt. Col. Bobby Webre.

Shortly after midnight on Friday, the man got into an argument with employees at the Southpaws Daiquiri Shop on La. 73 before pulling out a handgun and pointing it at several customers, Webre said in a news release.

The man then left the business in an older model Chevrolet Tahoe,Webre said.

The man is white, about 6 feet tall and about 220 pounds, according to the Sheriff’s Office. He was wearing a white, long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans.
