BIBLE STUDY: The Rev. Bryan Howard will present a Catholic Bible study, beginning with a session at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2621 Colonial Blvd., Violet. Subsequent meetings will be held on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month until May. Howard also will present a Bible study at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays, beginning Feb. 9, at the church. CATHOLIC CHARISMATIC PRAYER MEETING: At 7:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month, Catholic charismatic prayer meetings are held at Infant Jesus of Prague Church, 700 Maple Ave., Harvey. The celebrant will be the Rev. H.J. Adams on Feb. 14. The sacrament of reconciliation is available before each Mass, which is followed by prayers for healing and fellowship.
