Rivertown Theaters for the Performing Arts will hold its annual season announcement party and fundraiser at 7 p.m. on Jan. 6 at the theater, 325 Minor St., Kenner.
Tickets are $30 per person and include an open bar, a preshow buffet and live music in the courtyard. A post-show party will conclude the festivities.
A highlight of the event will be the silent auction for three items — a walk-on role, a VIP theater suite for one show and a VIP parking spot. Those attending will also be able to purchase raffle tickets during the evening for a chance to win specially created Muses shoes, each themed to a show announced for 2018-19.
The season announcement begins at 8 p.m. with co-artistic directors Gary Rucker and Kelly Fouchi presenting a video retrospective of highlights from last year's productions, followed by the announcements of the individual shows for the upcoming season.
There will also be a sneak peek number from "Million Dollar Quartet," which opens Jan.12.
