Start the Adventure in Reading recently held its graduation event at Covington Elementary School for those young children who have completed the reading course for the school year. Stair provided tutors last year, for free, to children in first, second and third grades at Covington Elementary and Chahta-Ima Elementary who are in danger of academic failure in reading.

Volunteer training will be held in September in Covington. For information, contact Allen Gibbs at (985) 809-7825 or visit www.stairnola.org.
