The city of Mandeville is accepting art submissions through July 18 for a poster design promoting Mandeville’s Marigny OctoberFeast.

OctoberFeast is a four-day gastronomical journey of Mandeville, celebrating the bounty of food, wine and art in the community and commemorating the birthday of its founder, Bernard de Marigny. The celebration will include a collection of food-and-wine dinners, art stroll, concert and a Grand Food & Wine Tasting at the Trailhead. Mandeville’s premier restaurants will be on hand to help celebrate all that the community has to offer. Organizers are looking for innovative artists to create original print images to convey the tone of the event.

All entries must be submitted by July 18 to The Mandeville Trailhead. A committee of judges will select the winning poster based on its design quality, marketability and its ability to most effectively display the concept of Mandeville’s Marigny OctoberFeast.

The winner of the competition will be announced and will receive recognition as the official 2014 MMO poster contest winner. The winning image will be reproduced as the official festival poster and will be used to market and promote the event with the artist credited.

All entries must be sized 11x17 inches or larger. The preferred format for emailed submissions is print-ready PDF or JPEG. Artists must submit a completed entry form with each submission.
