WOMEN IN THE NEW EVANGELIZATION: Catholic author Colleen Mitchell gave a presentation, "Who Does He Say You Are?" at two recent Women, Wine and Wisdom events organized by Women in the New Evangelization. KAIROS PRISON MINISTRY: People interested in serving in the Kairos Prison Ministry will gather for an information meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 8, in Genesis Hall at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 360 Robert Blvd., Slidell. The ministry involves weekend retreats inside the prison as well as a mentoring program for Kairos graduates and volunteers. Kairos Outside is a support program for women with spouses/family members/significant others who are incarcerated.
