‘SCHOOL HOUSE ROCK LIVE JR.’: The CLAPS summer theater program for high school students will present “School House Rock Live Jr.” at 10 a.m. June 19-21, at the Covington High School Performing Arts Center, 73030 Lion Drive, Covington.

‘FAT PIG’: Cutting Edge Theater will present the regional premiere of Neil LaBute’s play “Fat Pig” at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays through June 21 at the theater at 747 Robert Blvd., Slidell. ‘THE BFG’: The Slidell Little Theatre will present “The BFG (Big Friendly Giant)” on Saturday and Sunday. The play, which is part of the Theatre for Young Audiences series, tells the story of Sophie and her fantastic plan to recruit a 24-foot friendly giant, the queen and her royal helicopters to save the children of England from nasty giants. Performances will take place at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $8 for children 10 and younger, and $10 for others. CAST: The young actors of Creative Arts of St. Tammany will perform at 7 p.m. for the next four weeks at The Swan, 70326 Highway 59, Abita Springs. Tickets are $7 at the door. A 30-minute version of “The Wizard of Oz” will be presented Friday; “Rapunzel” on June 20; “The Snow Queen” on June 27; and “A Tribute to America” on July 1.
