Members of the homecoming court for St. Paul’s School are Queen Megan Haydel, Gabrielle Chaix, Maggie Otillio and Juliette St. Romain, all seniors at St. Scholastica Academy.

St. Paul’s homecoming took place the week of Oct. 11, featuring dances, dress-down days, a golf tournament, a pep rally and a Friday night football game against Northshore.

Haydel, daughter of Michael and Constance Haydel, is a member of the St. Paul’s Cheer Team and also is a Universal Cheer Association All American Cheerleader. She is a member of the national, English and science honor societies, and participates in Mu Alpha Theta and the foreign language club. Haydel has received honor roll recognition during each of her years at SSA. She was escorted by senior Josh Nunez.

Chaix, daughter of Richard and Leslie Chaix, is a member of the SSA varsity volleyball and track teams and also has competed with the Southeast Louisiana Roadrunners track team. She has played for Louisiana Volleyball for five years and has earned second-team all-district in varsity volleyball as well. She is an honors student and an active member of the art, Osirian and foreign language clubs at SSA. She was escorted by junior Ethan Desforges.

Otillio, daughter of Kenny and Michelle Otillio, earned all-district honors twice as a soccer player for SSA. In her four years of soccer at SSA, she is a three-time member of the varsity team. Her team is the reigning Louisiana state soccer champion. Maggie also is a student minister at SSA. She was escorted by senior Jack Genova.

St. Romain, daughter of St. Paul’s 1987 alumnus Jeff St. Romain and Melita St. Romain, is a member of SSA’s cross-country team and Student Council. Juliette serves as an altar server at Mary, Queen of Peace Church and as a student minister for SSA. She attended Teen Vogue Fashion University in New York City. She attended summer programs at the Savannah College of Art and Design and the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, California. She was escorted by senior Brett Feringa.
