A Slidell man was arrested Friday on 100 counts of possession of child pornography, according to Louisiana Attorney General Buddy Caldwell.

George Rogers, 44, was booked into the Slidell City Jail Friday morning after an investigation by the AG’s Cyber Crime Unit and others allegedly found him in possession of pornography with children younger than 13. Rogers was arrested and his West End Boulevard apartment was searched Friday morning, Caldwell said.

Rogers faces up to 20 years in prison on each count of possession of child pornography.
