St. Tammany Parish will celebrate National Night Out on two different nights in October. The bulk of the events will take place Oct. 17, and the Town of Pearl River Police Department will have a community gathering on Friday, Oct. 13.

Since 1984, National Night Out has been a way for law enforcement and citizens to work together to build relationships and minimize crime in communities across the country.
