Chahta-Ima’s Gary Marlbrough named Elementary Principal of the Year _lowres

Chahta-Ima Elementary in Lacombe, recently celebrated Principal Gary Marlbrough who has been named the St. Tammany Parish Public Schools Elementary Principal of the Year.

A surprise celebration for his accomplishments and dedication to the school was recently held and included a proclamation from St. Tammany Parish President Pat Brister and participants invited from the school community to recognize Marlbrough. Students from all grade levels performed songs or poems for him.

Special guests included Superintendent Trey Folse, Assistant Superintendent Cheryl Arabie, school supervisors Julie Matte and Beth Laine, and school board representative Willie “Coach” Jeter.
