A stretch of the Tammany Trace, St. Tammany’s popular recreational path, will be closed for about a month while timbers are replaced on a bridge.
The portion of the path that will be closed beginning Monday is from John’s Road to Bremerman Road in Lacombe. Work will be done on Bridge No. 10.
The project is expected to take until Sept. 16.
The area will be inaccessible to the public, and the parish is asking people to use alternate routes.
