EMPLOYEES OF THE MONTH: The employees of the month in the St. Tammany Parish Clerk of Court’s Office for the first quarter of 2014 are Marlene Seal, Adina Rivers and Barbara Olivier.

Seal, criminal scanning deputy clerk, was selected as the January Employee of the Month. She scans misdemeanor and felony court documents into the clerk’s computer system, including notification of jury trials, drug court and DWI hearing notices, subpoenas, defendant bonds and bill of information documents.

Rivers, civil domestic minute clerk, was selected as the February employee of the month. She maintains civil litigation files allotted to Judge Dawn Amacker’s division of the 22nd Judicial District Court, assists the public by answering telephone inquiries concerning their cases, catalogs exhibits and evidence for Division L and records minutes of court proceedings.

Olivier, domestic violence minute clerk, was selected as the March employee of the month. She is responsible for assisting victims in filing petitions for domestic violence protective orders and has been trained to explain the many requirements that must be met for eligibility. In the first quarter of 2014, 83 temporary restraining orders were brought to the Clerk’s Office.
